We’re looking to recruit a confident and enthusiastic Compliance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will need to be extremely organised with a keen eye for detail. With the ability to pick up new skills quickly, along with excellent written and verbal communication.

The candidate will need to be able to work independently and collaborate with other departments. An interest or understanding of the CBD market would be beneficial but not essential.

Role Summary:

  • You’ll be responsible for compliance, checking documentation across the business to ensure we meet our quality standards.
  • The right candidate will have an eye for detail, be interested in quality procedures and documentation, be able to learn quickly and work on their own and collaborate as part of the team.

What You’ll Get Up To:

  • You will be reporting to our Labs analytical team overseeing the checking of our compliance documentation.
  • You will need to ensure all documents have been proof read where you will be required to spot and change any errors.
  • Work across departments to help support other internal documentation checks including web sites, product packaging and labelling, presentations, marketing collateral, contracts, legal letters, memos.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage Compliance Data Requests
  • Proofing internal documents
  • Assisting the Novel Food Dossier team
  • Assisting in the management of Quality Systems
  • Document approvals (Laboratory COA’s, Supplier Agreements)
  • Product Development document drafting
  • Review marketing and advertising materials prior to distribution
  • Ensure all records and documents are properly kept
  • Assisting internal and external audits
  • Be able to work independently and part of a team

Knowledge/Experience required:

  • Degree level qualified
  • Knowledge of recognized QA systems (HACCP, GMP) would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of management systems (ISO9001) would be beneficial
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office) and proficiency in written and verbal communication
  • Attention to detail
  • Team player and trustworthy
  • Ability to be flexible surrounding deadlines
  • An understanding of the CBD or food industry would be beneficial
  • Willing to learn and develop yourself within the compliance and regulations role
